Congratulations to Ange Postecoglou, our backroom staff, board members and of course all the players on claiming our 52nd league title during our unbroken history.

Turning around a massive 29 points deficit from the previous campaign was an incredulous feat.

Automatic qualification for the Champions League group stages and a guaranteed £50 Million payout should improve the squad for next season.

Glasgow is our city, it's green and white and we never stop. Hopefully Celtics relentless domination of Scottish football continues for many years to come

Congratulations to Neil Lennon and the bhoys on successfully clinching last seasons delayed Scottish Cup Final against Heart Of Midlothian earlier this evening at Hampden Park, Glasgow.

The crowd free match finished 3-3 after injury time. Celtic won the resultant penalty shoot out 4-3 to record a historical quadruple treble of domestic trophies and the first club to ever win four Scottish Cup Finals in a row

On Thursday 18th June 2020, Newsquest Media Group Limited, (Herald & Times Group), historically announced they would NOT be publishing the forthcoming 2020-2021 Season edition of their ' Wee Red Book ' due to the protracted impact the Coronavirus pandemic was having on our national sport. Although regretful and admittedly somewhat frustrating from a selfish point of view, their decision was perfectly understandable.

It was later decided between the Scottish Government and Scottish Professional Football League that scheduled league matches for the forthcoming season would progress in a fan-free stadium environment commencing on 1st August 2020. Celtics opening day league game played on 2nd August 2020 resulted in a resounding 5-1 victory over Hamilton Academical.

On Thursday 7th September 2020, more than six weeks after the season commenced, Newsquest Media Group Limited surprisingly contacted me via e-mail announcing they'd changed their minds on their original decision and were readying a belated print of the ' Wee Red Book ' for season 2020-2021. The expected distribution date being Thursday 17th September 2020 and should be available for sale to the public for a limited time only.

The book will be available to purchase at all the normal retail outlets including this website. Please remember the sales window will be typically short lived prior to their usual recall with possibly higher than normal demand amongst Celtic fans.

This season is unprecedented in so far that if offers our club the opportunity to win not three but four major domestic trophies under such challenging  circumstances ( Scottish Cup Season 2019-2020 carried forward , Scottish League Cup Season 2020-2021, Scottish Cup Season 2020-2021 and possibly a record breaking 10 League Titles In a Row Scottish Premier League Championship Season 2020-2021 ) therefore the pocket book bible could prove a real collectors item in years to come.

In July of each year, Celtic fans are amongst those that religiously purchase the pocket sized ' Wee Red Book ',(Scottish Football Fixture Publication) to mull over the scheduled matches prior to the new season kicking off.

This tradition has been in force since 1928 and deemed an integral part of the Scottish football scene. It signals the start of the new season of dreams alongside new replica strips filling the shelves for the first time in the clubs history.

Last season Celtic FC set another Scottish footballing record by equalling their previous 9 League Titles In A Row. The Wee Red Book publication for season 2019-2020 is listed for sale elsewhere on this website under the ' Celtic Gifts ' category. Now our 10 League Titles In A Row campaign beckons.

Unfortunately, David O'Neill, Allocations and Distribution Manager, Herald & Times Group, Glasgow, has, in the last few days, regretfully announced that for the first time in their 92 year history, The Wee Red Book will NOT be published for the 2020-2021 season due to a Pandemic.

Despite the league fixture draw procedure being implemented as normal, the only detailing anomaly in the new footballing calendar would be to include a 3 line reference to the two Scottish Cup Semis and Final ( Celtic V Aberdeen & Hibernian V Heart of Midlothian ) carried over from the previous season which was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Nonetheless, the Herald & Times Group have decided not to publish this seasons edition blaming the decision on disruption to sport.

The publication would have undoubtedly proved to be a valuable piece of Scottish football memorabilia in future years but alas and alack it's not to be.
