In complete contrast to our form only a few months, Celtic incredibly managed to pull off the impossible of League and Scottish Cup double winners at the business end of the season.

They beat Neil Lennons Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 at Hampden Park, Glasgow courtesy of two first half goals by Daizen Maeda on 19 minutes and Arne Engels on 36 minutes . Celtics third goal was scored in the second half by Kelechi Iheanacho on 73 minutes. Josh Cooper pulled one back for Dunfermline on the 80th minute with his first touch of the ball having just came on as a substitute .

The unlikely domestic double was down to one man - Martin O'Neill

Phew ! Where do I even begin describe our generational league performance throughout the 2025-2026 season ?  It was the most absurd, craziest, bewildering, depressing, frustrating, gut wrenching, nerve wracking, dire brand of football I've ever witnessed whilst following my club for over 54 years.

From the  age of 12 when, I'd trudge the 8 mile round trip from Govanhill on the South side of Glasgow to Celtic Park in the East end where I attended most home domestic games. The infamous Scottish weather conditions were rendered irrelevant. I'd make my journey through hail or shine. My single parent family background resulted in me being raised by a mother who worked three part time jobs just to make ends meet. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the entrance fee to Celtic Park so I'd inevitably plead with some unknown ' Hey mister ' stranger to raise me over the turnstile or slide under the turnstile with perfect timing before the cop on duty caught me. All this just to watch my beloved team play in green and white.  My access into the ground was typically via the Janefield Street, traditional Celtic end then navigate left into the famous ' Jungle ' section where the diehards sang their customary Celtic songs with gusto.I won't dwell on the warm wet urine associated experience felt on the rear of my legs whilst engulfed by the stench of McEwans Pale Ale or Eldorado / Buckfast tonic wines.

The infamous razor gangs still existed in Glasgow and occasionally found my return walks to and from the game rather challenging. In fact I was once held up at knife point by a gang intent on robbing me until they discovered I was poorer than my assailants who left me go uninjured.

Back in those days the Celtic squad consisted of Billy McNeill, Danny McGrain, Andy Lynch, Pat McCluskey, Bobby Murdoch, David Hay, Lou Macari, Tommy Callaghan, Jimmy Johnstone, Bobby Lennox, Harry Hood, Kenny Dalglish, Dixie Deans and Paul Wilson amongst others. No wonder I loved watching my team.

Like millions across the globe I've experienced both highs and lows over the years following Celtic. I'll never forget the emotions during our Centenary Year double, 9 In A Row , Seville and everything in between. Then we were all cheated for 9 years in a row when the unmentionables defrauded everyone during their illegal attempt to reach the holy grail of winning 10 league titles in a row. That bigot dome of a stadium represents all that is evil about our city and should've been razed to the ground on their liquidation.

I thought I'd witnessed everything in football over the decades but nothing prepared me for season 2025-2026. This particular season in our clubs history will always stand out for multiple horrendous reasons alongside the Martin O'Neill miracles.

Brendan Rodgers began the 2025-2026 season as manager. The rifts between him and our Board of Directors over lack of transfer activities promptly became public knowledge eventually resulting in his resignation on 27th October 2025. Rodgers quoted the analogy of the Board effectively handing him a set of keys to a Honda Civic expecting him to race against a Ferrari.

To make matters worse The Green Brigade were  banned from the stadium on 7th November 2025 causing an eerie silence at home games. It created a surreal lack of atmosphere both on and off the pitch. The fans were no longer engaging with the players which transferred onto the pitch. We wanted the Board Of Directors to resign en-masse due to their obvious failings on how to run a football club in a professional manner. The whole place was flat during match days. That scenario lasted for 5 months of the season.

The unusual team selections had became mystifying to supporters. Our players were played out of their normal positions and no one appeared to know what they were doing on the pitch. We'd gone from Champions to a team devoid of ideas. Celtic were historically renowned for playing glorious attacking football but the fans had to endure tentative, slow build up play which consisted of three passes sideways or backwards to one going forward. It certainly wasn't entertaining but more akin to a 90 minute endurance test. the attack couldn't score while the defence were leaking goals for fun without the long termed injured Cameron Carter Vickers. Then we suffered from our keeper hiding a double shoulder injury whilst on International duties which lead him to scoring an own goal during a cup final defeat.  The whole team was being compromised either through hidden injuries, lack of confidence, fear of making passes etc.

It appeared to our fans from the outside looking in that both the Directors and Rodgers were self sabotaging our club to emphasise their points of view.

In December 2025, Celtic trailed Hearts by a colossal 9 points in the league and literally looked out of the running. There was simply no hope in sight. Every aspect of the club was toxic. Martin O'Neill was duly appointed interim manager on the same date Rodgers resigned. Although stuck with the same set of sub standard players MON reinstated our traditional 4-4-2 format to build up the players confidence slowly but surely. The same group of players miraculously clawed back the 9 points deficit to Hearts in the league plus gained qualification to the League Cup Final V St. Mirren. He also disposed of sevco at their hate fest stadium in the Scottish Cup quarter final. It wasn't exactly rocket science. He played a 4-4-2 format the players were moulded on and played them all in their natural positions. Simple old school tactics which were proving effective.

Our Board Of Directors then effectively committed football suicide. On 3rd December 2025 they inexplicably appointed an unheard of Frenchman named Wilfried Nancy from the USA soccer league as our permanent ?manager. Martin had came to the Celtic calling by Dermot Desmond to save our club from the depths of despair. Now that he'd turned the proverbial oil tanker 360 degrees on it's axis our leaders dismissed him. Another shameful decision.  The fans rebelled.

Nancy introduced his infamous pitch-side handheld blue, red and white coloured magnetic strategy diagram board. His pre-match team talks referred to his bewildering ' Atoms and fusion ' footballing philosophy  which naturally  blew up like  mini atomic bomb on the football pitches. He introduced his much loved 3-5-2 system instead of our traditional 4-4-2 format throwing all the players into further confusion. O'Neill was tossed aside like some piece of garbage.

During Nancys disastrous 33 day reign of terror as Celtic manager we lost the League Cup Final and another five games in charge, all but surrendering the league title by the end of December 2025. He now holds the worst record as Celtic manager in our entire history. The man was wrongly appointed into a post clearly beyond his capabilities.

Incredulously the Board of Directors then sacked Nancy and reappointed Martin O'Neill as interim manager on 5th January 2026. The hierarchy  expecting him to once again change our course of direction following their catastrophic decisions.

The Green Brigade were alson banned from attending home matches during a five month spell. Celtic never bought a player in the January transfer window. Everything that could go wrong did. The fans rebelled and introduced the ' Not A Penny More ' campaign losing the club £millions on revenue streams. Toxicity reigned eveywhere. The fans wanted the resignation of all board members including the minority shareholder. The Board of Directors oversaw the appointment of 4 managers in the space of 9 weeks, To put that into perspective Celtics first four managers namely Willie Maley, Jimmy McStay, Jimmy McGrory and Jock Stein held their respective managerial  posts at Scotlands most successful football club for 81 years as opposed to 9 weeks. The common denominator during this tragic 9 week period involving 3 different managers over 4 appointments were the Board of directors.

The legend that is Martin O'Neill overcame all the injury woes that ensued alongside overcoming players personal issues with the hierarchy by gradually turning our group of misfits into catching sevco in the league. He then slowly started eating away into Hearts massive 8 point lead on his second interim appointment but games fast running out.. Hearts began to wilt with the Celtic juggernaut chasing them down. Hearts were clearly running out of steam especially in away matches.  Come the post split fixtures Celtic were by now only 3 points behind the league leaders who also held a superior goal difference of 6.

By match 36 out of 38 games, Celtic had reduced the league points deficit on Hearts to a solitary point. The goal difference had also been reduced to only 3 in Hearts favour.. Celtic were piling on the agony on our opponents who suddenly realised we were actually capable of pulling off the impossible with Martin O'Neill at the helm.

We'd beaten the bigots 3-1 at home by blowing them off the park but to be fair so did Motherwell, Hearts and Hibs following the post split fixtures. sevco had become the whipping boys mirroring their European adventures. They suffered a total capitulation when faced with pressure at the business end of the season. The bigots are now approximately £77million in debt and losing on average £1million every month since the SPFL allowed them to join the Scottish league as a new team. Celtic still have around £70million in the bank. The gap between Celtic and sevco continually increases year on year both on and off the park. Death by a thousand cuts to the team that never learns. . It's the hope that's killing them. I diversify - sorry.

Then came match 38 winners takes all fixture at Celtic Park which thankfully had the Green Brigade back in full voice. The club and the fans were  buzzing.

Celtic being Celtic typically trailed 0-1 against Hearts at Celtic Park in the champions decider final day encounter and we were rank rotten in the first half. Scales and Trusty had reverted back to their dreadful passing backwards all the time. However, just before the half time whistle blew Tierney won us a stonewall penalty whereby Arne Engels equalised from the spot. The players returned to the pitch for the second half and became an entirely different animal. Martin changed the format from 4.4.2 which was producing very little into a much needed 3.5.2 all out attack formation only this time deploying players in their natural positions

Hearts delaying tactics ensured there was 8 minutes injury time. They were hell bent on securing the one point from a draw which would crown them champions. Then with only four minutes of normal time left on the clock when Celtic, having created wave after wave of attack and hitting the post, eventually took the lead through Daizen Maeda on the 86th minute.  Hearts suddenly decided to play attack football desperate to equalise but it was all in vain.

In the dying seconds of added on injury time the entire Hearts team crowded Celtics penalty box for their corner. The corner was short, celtic broke up the field and Callum Osmond scored to make it 3-1 to Celtic with seconds left to play. Celebrations began and the final whistle blew. celtic were champions for the fifth year on the trot..

The legend that is Martin O'Neil came back to save us the first time in overhauling a nightmare 9 point deficit by December 2025. Second time round he clawed back an 8 point deficit then won the league title by 2 points. I personally  don't believe any other manager could have achieved this feat.  Martin as far as the Celtic fans are concerned, may be 74 years of age but my goodness he walks on water.  From the depths of despair to becoming world record breakers in winning 56 league titles.

All I can say is it's eventually proved to be the best tasting league title win I've endured but I never wish to experience anything like that season from hell again. Celtic must build a statue of our legend Martin O'Neill outside paradise.  Theres no amount of superlatives to describe his accomplishment.

Yesterday I witnessed one of the most ineffectual Celtic attacks in the 54 years of following my beloved club. They were absent throughout the proceedings. They couldn't punch their way out of a wet paper bag.

The defence on the other hand put in a superb performance especially Sinisalo who commanded his penalty box better than any Celtic keeper since Artur Boruc. It was like a breath of fresh air instead of the usual keeper sticking to the goal line and being pushed about by opposing players.

Nonetheless we still managed to beat an equally woeful sevco outfit in the Scottish Cup, quarter final fixture played at the evil bigotdome. Their American owners spent a fortune on them yet they're still abject on the fierld. I believe the bigots are now around £70 million in debt. Celtic around £80 million in the bank. Financial difference between the clubs is approximately £150 million in Celtics favour.

I honestly don't know how our legend Martin O'Neill grinds out results against all the odds with this particular group of players. Suffice to say neither side were capable of scoring in either the 90 minutes of normal time followed by another 3o agonising minutes of extra time, The game inevitably went to penalties as the bygone days of replays are a distant memory. It was lottery time.

Sevco captain James Tavernier called both coin tosses correctly. He elected sevco go first on penalties sequence whilst shooting into the goal at the Copeland Road end of the stadium. The odds were stacking up against this dogged Celtic team.

Tavenier, scorer of 77 previous sevco penalties ( which in itself tells it's own story) opted to take their first home side penalty. After enacting his customary prancing horse imitationda he duly thumped the ball off the crossbar and into the stand. The sequence of penalties thereafter played out as follows:-

Celtic - Oxlade-Chamberlain - scores 0-1

sevco - Bajrami scores 1-1 ( Sinisalo guessed the correct side )

Celtic - Trusty scores 1-2

sevco - Naderi - scores 2-2 ( Sinisalo again guessed the correct side )

Celtic - Hatate - scores 2-3

sevco - Gassama - misses - skyed right over the bar 2-3

Celtic - Cvancara - scores 2-4

Scottish Cup Quarter Final game over.

The occasion ultimately proved too much for the expensive sevco players who clearly bottled it in front of their fans in their own stadium.

The Celtic players ran up the park to celebrate in front of their own fans at the Broomloan Road Stand. Celtic fans spilled onto the pitch behind the goal to take selfies and celebrate with the victorious players..

Defeat and Celtics joyous celebrations at the Bigotdome proved all too much for the sectarian smurf wannabes to stomach. Literally hundreds of them, dressed in black and obviously from the sevco Ultras Union Bear section, piled onto the pitch from the opposing end of the stadium.

The hordes of sectarian bigots frothing at the mouths, covering their faces with balaclavas, blue balloons replicating spiderman masks, hoodies, scarves wrapped around their heads or anything else they could muster to hide their identities charged the length of the park at will without interjection from the stewards or police officers present on the pitch.

Glasgows sectarian smurfs ran the length of the pitch towards the Celtic fans hell bent on engaging in yet another pitch battle for which they are so infamous for. It resembled a typical sevco night out in Manchester.

Scotlands Police Force Match Commander was clearly out of his/her depth and watched in horror as the unfolding riot ensued. Whoever promoted that officer to the rank of Chief Superintendent should resign. The Match Commander must be hauled up to account for their lack of action before being fired. The level of incompetence is truly breathtaking. The police behaved in a cowardly fashion.

There will have to be a public enquiry into how ineffective policing in Scotland at major events is planned / executed. I dread to think if sevco typically tried minimising the costs of policing but there has to be, excuse the phrase, sacrificial lambs awaiting their P45.

The Officer In Charge forgot to deploy the mounted police who were presumably on standby directly outside the venue yet nowhere to be seen during the fracas. Thats the main reason Scotlands Police Force incorporates the mounted branch namely to assist in policing major events. What an embarrassment to our nation by sevco and the missing in action police service. Lets not forget the scenes were broadcast across the globe.

Not only did the sevco neds engage in the pitch riot they allegedly proceeded to assault Celtic fans, Celtic players and Celtic staff members on the park. There was clear evidence of sevco fans igniting red coloured flares and lobbing them into the Celtic crowd who were still penned in at the Broomloan Road Stand.

Even when Tomas Cvancara was interviewed inside the stadium by a female television journalist after the game she referred to his match shirt being splattered in blood.

The SFA will typically condemn both sets of fans in the coming days in equal measure. It's the political narrative in Scotland. One set celebrating in good voice with no intention of hiding their identities or assaulting anyone merely rejoicing.

The other sinister group, running the length of the stadium erupting into violence on anyone relating to Celtic FC. It's Scotland and will never change. Neither the Scottish Parliament nor Police Service wish to let alone deal with sevco in the appropriate manner.

The match stewards never search the neds before entering the stadium for bottles and flares. The television companies never direct the blame on those obviously responsible for fear of intimidation. sevco never hammer their bigoted fan base as their whole culture is blood money related. The American owners of sevco should be ashamed for their lack of action. Who in their right mind wants to be associated with such a repulsive bigoted institution ?.

Not even the Celtic Board Of Directors lodge official complaints to the SFA despite Celtic fans and staff members being regularly attacked whilst visiting the bigotdome. Theres a long history of assaults on Celtic players during matches but never dealt with.

John Ure Primrose, presumably looking up from the fires of hell, must be so proud of what he started in 1912. Here we are, some 114 years later still witnessing Scotlands shame in action.

I've personally witnessed some truly gruesome events by cowardly sevco neds over the decades whilst attending these matches. It reached the point I could no longer be in the same vicinity of such imbeciles. I can never unsee the sights of sevco depravity.

In total a mere nine supporters were arrested during the riot. There must have been between two to three hundred of the sevco supporters assaulting all n sundry. They charged the length of the pitch, armed with weapons, unhindered by stewards or police officers alike, punched, kicked and bottled their victims then casually returned all the way back again to the Copeland Road Stand. One female police officer was apparently attacked from behind by one of the head covered bigots while running towards the Celtic fans.

Lets assume the cowardly stewards and police officers arrested roughly four Celtic fans for celebrating or taking selfies with the Celtic players.  That leaves four or five rioters arrested out of hundreds on the park.  Scotlands finest are a disgrace and reflects poorly on the standard of police officer in the 21st century.

Shocking scenes matched only by the abysmal lack of police action. The usual biased BBC / Scottish media are already spinning the narrative it was all the fault of Celtic fans for spilling onto the pitch. Same old bigoted journalism in Scotland.

sevoc fans can best be summed up by two Scottish journalists the latter of whom admitting to being a sevco supporter.

1 )  “This has to be said about Rangers, as a Scottish Football club they are a permanent embarrassment and an occasional disgrace. This country would be a better place if Rangers did not exist.” Ian Archer (journalist, 1970s)

2 )  Unarguably the most socially-backward fans in British football. The really damaging thing for RFC is, it’s not the mythical ‘small minority’. There appear to be 1000s upon 1000s singing these songs.” Graham Spiers (Journalist) (March 2011)

Personally speaking I fear more for the wives and children being brutalised with domestic violence. following sevco defeats. It's a well known fact the domestic violence crime rate spirals in the west coast of Scotland following a bigot defeat at the hands of Scotlands most successful club. Their limited minds simply can't cope with the reality of being second best so they abuse their family.

Not one bigot should ever be allowed near Celtic Park in the future. It's the 21st century and they still can't behave like decent lawful human beings. Why can't they accept their glory days were only accomplished  through tax evasion by the original club prior to their 2012 liquidation. UEFA ensure there will be no repeat. They're finances reveal they're close to £70 million in debt already. They've ran up debt on a daily basis since their inception into Scottish football fourteen years ago.

When they were liquidated in 2012 Scottish society had the wonderful opportunity of refusing the fraudsters entry back into Scottish football. We Scottish society as a whole could / should have razed the bigotdome Ibrox to the ground and assigned their repugnant history of murder, hate and bile to the history books. Football without their criminal presence proved a much more enjoyable experience in the SPFL Premier League during their absence. It became a family affair without fear of muggings or riots

Instead we afforded the less than honest cretins a second chance of sectarian violence  under a new name. Instead of sevco being named Rangers they had to add the word ' The ' in front of the previous clubs title to become ' The Rangers '. What about all the £millions they owed to the hundreds of businesses they abused. It could be argued they got what they deserved for trading with such evil. Shame on the SFA who welcomed violence back into our game

This Celtic team are richer than all the other Scottish football clubs combined. Sevco supporters must accept their subservient status in the grander scheme of things. Our 8 million fanbase registered  world-wide makes a mockery of their lack of following.

Only one Scottish club can interupt Celtics ongoing decades of domination of Scottish football and thats themselves. Admittedly the present Board Of Directors are antiquated and out of touch. The directors are incapable of running a business with a turnover of £150 million annually but thats another story altogether.

On the last word of note - the phrase ' Old Firm ' only applied up to and including the season the cheating club died. It's now the' 'Glasgow Derby'. No Celtic fan wishes to be associated in any way with such an evil, sub-human species.

Today Celtic FC Board Of Directors admitted by their actions that Paul Tisdale was responsible for making possibly THE worst decision in our clubs glorious history by appointing Wilfried Nancy as Celtic manager.

The damage caused to our club proved significant in three separate  tournaments. Nonetheless, it's still possible to win a domestic double. Admittedly it's a tall task for whoever comes in as the interim manager but is achievable.

Both Nancy and Tisdale were sacked unceremoniously today and good riddance. A complete waste of money every second they were here. I wholeheartedly detested Nancy obviously not the man himself but his ludicrous tactical mismanagement as our manager. I honestly believe Mr Bean could provide signs of improvement to Celtic FC following Nancys dismissal. The dread of Celtics football calendar fixtures has now been lifted. Now we may actually win a game.

Yesterday marked Wilfried Nancys one full calendar month in charge of Celtic FC resulting in absolute heart breaking chaos and carnage.

The fact that his latest catastrophe guaranteed defeat to sevco, Scotlands Shame, a team £130 million poorer than Celtic, at Celtic Park' was staggering. Defeat was a shoo-in. I even predicted a 1-3 loss at half time despite ripping sevco apart and leading by a single goal.

Had we employed a semi decent striker instead of Johnny Kenny we'd have been 4-0 up come the break. We led at half time thanks to a superb individual solo goal by Yang who was ripping sevco to pieces. He was outstanding on the right wing during the first 45 minutes. I would go as far as to say he was unplayable.

The half time whistle blew and the dread suddenly struck me. What could monsieur incompetent possibly do yet again to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory ?

Out came the players in the second half and Yang was inexplicably  playing on the left wing with obvious alterations to our overall formation. We immediately looked like lambs to the slaughter. Nancy had struck yet again !  He couldn't outmanoeuvre a Subbuteo linesman.

It took all of five minutes for sevcos equaliser. Our heads dropped and we knew we were onto yet another hiding. 9 minutes later we were1-2 down. 12 minutes later 1-3 down and game over. Kasper Schmeichel didn't exactly cover himself in glory either with his keeper display. Sinisalo should be given the gloves from now on.

The fans hatred inevitably turned from the sevco bigots to monsieur incompetent and our own Board Of Directors seated within the stadium ( albeit our majority shareholder with 34.7% shares was notably absent from the proceedings ).

The match concluded followed by the inevitable exiting fans gathering outside the front doors of Celtic Park to voice their disgust at both Nancy and the jokers responsible for hiring him.

At the conclusion of the match the fraudster masquerading as a football manager with a 25% win rate at a club the size of Celtic FC was asked the question by a sporting journalist live on television how he aims to turn Celtic into a winning side to which he replied 'No Change '

The rumour mills have gone into overdrive. One of the latest stats doing their rounds is that Nancy has never won more than 3 matches in a row as a football manager. Compare that to less than 10 years ago during season 2016-2017 Celtic won the league title undefeated over 38 matches.

If true it would have been grossly negligent by Paul Tisdale ( Head Of Football Operations ) to appoint such an ill qualified character to manage our club.

When we dig deeper into Tisdales own lack of qualifications we discover he himself was a bit of a journeyman whilst managing lower league teams in the English football leagues namely :-

Team Bath ( 2001-2006 ), Exeter City ( 2006-2018 ), Milton Keynes Dons ( 2018-2019 ), Bristol Rovers ( 2020 - 2021 ) and finally Stevenage ( 2021-2022 ).

Matters have plummeted to such depths within our club that our captain Callum McGregor,, whose played for Celtic man and boy is reportedly considering leaving for pastures new. How has it came to this within one football calendar month at our club ?

I can honestly say I've never felt so low supporting my beloved club during my 50 years attending Paradise .
