Lextra Official Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League Arm Patches Seasons 2007-2009 Champions Style

This listing is for a rare pair of new official Lextra Sporting ID Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League Player Issue ' Champions ' style Arm Patches covering the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons.

The Clydesdale Bank sponsored the Scottish Premier League over a six year period ( Seasons 2007 -2013 ) during which time there were no less than three variations to the Arm Patch finishes. This was brought about owing to the original company (Lextra) being taken over and rebranded with a new name (Sporting ID).

In order to identify which of the three versions applied to which seasons the differentials are as follows :-

Version One - In seasons 2007-2009 the Arm Patches displayed the ' Lextra ' detailing on the protective film to the front of the product ( As shown in the attached images ).

' Lextra ' then began trading as ' Sporting ID '

Version Two - In seasons 2009-2011 Sporting ID continued manufacturing the same Arm Patches but minus ' Lextra ' detailing on same. 

Version Three - In seasons 2011-2013 Sporting ID produced the same style of Arm Patch but no longer applied any protective film to the felt type product.

Application suitability :- Please note these Arm Patches were only applied to Player Issue shirts the season after winning the league title. For example Celtic won the league title in season 2005-2006 so these ' Champions ' Arm Patches were applied to the Player Issue shirts during Season 2006-2007
