In Season 2009-2010 Celtic Were in Their Final Sponsorship Year With Carling. At That Time Celtic Were Issued With Player Issue Bumblebee Away Unsponsored Shirts By Nike For European Campaigns. During The Same Season The Club Sold Unsponsored Replica Versions To Fans Through The Usual Retail Outlets. 

Logistical Problems Arose However In Season 2010-2011 When The Bumblebee Shirt Was Assigned To Being The Clubs 3rd Strip. Celtic Had Commenced Their New Sponsorship Deal With Tennents Therefore Existing Player Issue Stock Displaying The Carling Logo Could No Longer Be Worn For Obvious Reasons. Celtic Overcame The Tennents Sponsorship / Bumblebee 3rd Strip Conundrum By Applying Tennents Chest Patches Onto Both Player Issue And Replica Version Unsponsored Bumblebee Shirts Remaining In Stock. Hence The Reason There Are So Few Unsponsored Variations Available For Collectors. I've attached A Few Images Of The Referred To Tennents Patch For Illustration Purposes Only.
